What is Phonemic Awareness? Phonemic awareness is the ability to hear and manipulate sounds (phonemes) that make up words. Phonemic awareness does not utilize visual letters. School Safety Is Important at FHSD169

Ford Heights implements many safety procedures and features throughout the district. One aspect of safety is performing regular drills to prepare students for anything that may come their way. So far this school year, students have practiced a bus evacuation drill, a tornado drill and a fire and evacuation drill.
