“The Art of Excellence” is the 2024-25 theme for Ford Heights School District. Excellence is defined as the quality of being outstanding and surpassing ordinary standards. The 2023-24 school year focused on continuously refining the quality of excellence in and around our district. FHSD created an atmosphere where teachers were constantly growing and improving their craft through experience, professional development and mentorship. For our scholars, they showed up each day with positive attitudes, asked for help when needed and challenged the status quo from time to time. For all other staff and administrators, this meant that we were consistently making decisions that were best for students and for the success of the district. Celebrating excellence is essential for continuing growth and fostering a learning environment.
